Glazing day
Another take on the moon jar. This one stands about 5" tall and 4 1/8" diameter. I used white clay, and though I'm a fan of the glaze, I'm not sure what was used. It may be a happy result from ignorance in mixing a purchased dry glaze.
One of my favorite shapes to create with clay, the moon jar. This one is only about 3" tall x 3 1/8" diameter. White clay with clear glaze.
The beauty of a wood fern leaf pressed into clay and accentuated with a combination of glazes brings the complexity of nature into the home on this bread platter. Dimensions are 6" x 14", sold occasionally at The Natural Olive store, downtown Hickory, NC.
Small bowls with a lot of versatility. Their original purpose is as a dipping bowl for olive oil and vinegar, but their potential is limitless. This is a popular item at The Natural Olive store in downtown Hickory, NC. Dimensions are about 3 5/8" x 1 1/4" tall.
A collection of tiny vases.
